Why is there so much delay in the recruitment process for WBCSC Clerk?
Almost one year has passed since this recruitment process was started, but no examination has been conducted by the department yet. The reason is that earlier posts were not earmarked for EWS. The re-application process has been changed to provide EWS benefits. Had gone ahead of it between March and April. But the department has now invited applications again from November 26 to December 5, 2024. Re-applications have been invited only from EWS. The department believes that the economically weaker section has to be brought up.
